CSU Experts Lower Storm Predictions For Hurricane Season

Experts at Colorado State University have lowered the number of storms predicted one day before hurricane season begins.

The group originally predicted seven hurricanes for the season with three of them being major. The number has since been decreased to six hurricanes, with only two of them believed to be major.

The group considers a major hurricane to be Category 3 or above with winds reaching at least 111 miles per hour.
