National Felon League: Dolphins Player Reportedly Punched Pregnant Lady

With all the imaging and marketing issues the NFL has been dealing with as of late, they can now add this to their laundry list of problems.

The Miami Dolphins just released running back Mark Walton after he was accused of punching his pregnant girlfriend.

Walton reportedly beat the daylights out his pregnant girlfriend on Tuesday morning after discovering he may be the father of her unborn child, according to a police report.

Walton is no stranger to the backseat of a squad car - he's already been arrested four times this year.

Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said in a statement, "We were made aware of a police matter earlier this morning regarding Mark Walton. We hold our players to a high standard and take these matters very seriously. We will have no further comment at this time."

Walton has had a fun year - he pleaded guilty to resisting arrest (and reckless driving) back in March. He had charges dropped for misdemeanor marijuana possession. He also had a drug charge from a January arrest and a battery charge from February, according to ESPN.

Violent, stupid and unsuccessful is no way to go through life, Markie Mark.
