Things You Didn't Know About Famous Christmas Songs (video)

There's a new list of 'things you didn't know' about famous Christmas songs.  For example,  Eartha Kitt had a huge hit in 1953 with "Santa Baby", so the next year  she released a sequel.   It was called "This Year's Santa Baby", it was the exact same song with  different lyrics, and it bombed.  Maybe because this time she was  asking for a private jet and an ocean liner.

"Do You Hear What I Hear?" was written as a call for peace during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.  Here's the Bing Crosby version.

Not sure how this will make you feel, but "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" was recorded by Brenda Lee when she was just 13 years old.
