Legendary: Dallas Homeowner’s Gruesome Halloween Display

Yesterday we posted about a Richmond woman being told by her HOA to take down her strip club skeleton Halloween display.

Today, a legendary Halloween display in Dallas by an artist.

The Dallas Observer reports on artist Steven Novak with an incredible Halloween display at his home that has resulted in calls to the Dallas Police Department.

Novak tells the Observer that he wanted “something that would really freak people out walking by in the dark. So I whipped up some dummies and slung 20 gallons of blood all over.”

The article describes the scene:

“one dummy lies with his head pulverized, one lies with a scale where his or her head used to be, and a few more lie in bloodied trash bags fallen off a wheelbarrow. All the while, in the window of the house, a zombie horde attempts to break out.”

Novak's decorations have brought the police to his house multiple times.
