Hurricane Hanna is taking aim at the Texas coast.
The National Hurricane Center says the storm is packing 80 miles per hour winds as of 10 a.m. Saturday after strengthening overnight.
Forecasters expect Hanna to make landfall in Texas later today.
A hurricane warning is posted for parts of the Gulf coast which will see heavy rain and a storm surge of up to five feet.
Outer bands of Hanna will impact southeast Louisiana, bringing possibly locally heavy rains that could lead to isolated flash flooding.
