The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Jose will be an unwelcome guest in the western Atlantic Ocean for possibly the next week.
The storm was moving north-northwest Monday morning but will be at the mercy of steering currents by mid-week which should push it in a clockwise loop through the weekend.
For now, Jose is not a threat to the Gulf Coast.
