U.S. Sen. John Kennedy says he's unsure if President Trump really believes his claim that vandals damaged the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

The Louisiana Republican told NBC's Meet the Press the President "exists loudly, and he grows anxious when he has an unexpressed thought."

Kennedy's comment comes after the President slammed the Justice Department's decision to drop charges against a former Olympian accused of damaging D.C.'s reflecting pool.

In a Saturday Truth Social post, Trump wrote, "I disagree 100-percent with Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. District Attorney of Columbia, on the reflecting pool."

The president went on to say the case was obviously vandalism and that major damage was done.
