Beauregard Parish Man Wins $2M In State Lottery

A Beauregard Parish man is the winner of a $2 million lottery prize from a ticket sold in Singer.

Louisiana Lottery officials say George McLeod bought the Powerball ticket at Singer Food Store on State Highway 27.

McLeod took home nearly a million and a half after taxes, and the store earned a $20,000 from the Louisiana Lottery.

McLeod was one of 11 people in Louisiana who won big in the April 29th Powerball drawing. One of the million-dollar prizes is till unclaimed.

The deadline is October 26th.
