The family of an injured officer in Baton Rouge is thanking the community for their outreach and support.
Sgt. Caleb Eisworth remains in critical condition after allegedly being hit while on his marked police motorcycle and then dragged 500 feet on Monday.
In a statement, Eisworth's family thanked law enforcement, first responders, and the hospital staff for their help.
The family is also thanking community members after a jambalaya lunch hosted by the Baton Rouge Police Department sold out, raising thousands of dollars for Eisworth's family.
