Baton Rouge Police have made an arrest in the deadly shooting of an Our Lady of the Lake employee.

Detectives say Roland Domino, 60, faces charges of second degree murder and illegal use of a weapon in the death of Patricia Ann Jackson, 58.

Domino allegedly shot Jackson after an argument in a parking lot Wednesday afternoon.

“Our Lady of the Lake is a beacon of healing for our community and today that sacred space was shattered by a tragic act of violence. We lost a member of our work family, a mother, and a friend to many," said CEO Chuck Spicer.

"I want to thank law enforcement for their quick response, the team members who jumped into action to provide care, and our security who ensured the safety of our facilities. Now, we will grieve this loss as a family. We will wrap our arms around her family and provide the rest of our team with access to any counseling and support needed," he added.

Police are calling the shooting a domestic violence incident.
