Louisiana Officials, Legislators Respond To Deadly DC Plane Crash

Louisiana officials and lawmakers are responding to the deadly plane crash in Washington, D.C., late Wednesday night.

Gov. Jeff Landry, US Senator John Kennedy, and US Representatives Steve Scalise, Julia Letlow, and Troy Carter took to social media to send condolences and prayers to the victims' families and to thank the first responders.

An American Airlines jet on approach to Ronald Reagan National Airport collided with an Army helicopter over the Potomac River. There were no survivors.
