Tulane University is on the receiving end of a $23 million federal grant for cancer research.

President Joe Biden announced the outlay on Tuesday as part of $150 million in grants from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health.

The president and First Lady Jill Biden were in New Orleans on Tuesday to promote his administration's "Cancer Moonshot" initiative, which aims to reduce the number of cancer deaths.
