A paintball company plans to relocate to Baton Rouge after closing its operation in Livingston Parish.

Guerrilla Warfare Paintball shut down its previous location last June after neighbors near the course complained to the parish council.

The East Baton Rouge Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday gave the green light to reopening the paintball range on a 75-acre site in Baton Rouge.

The business still needs the approval of the Metro Council.

Owner Justin King hopes to be open by midsummer.
