A Glen Oaks High School student is in hot water after reportedly taking a gun to school on Monday.
Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office School Drug Task Force responded around 8:15 a.m. to a report of a gun in a 16-year old sophomore's backpack.
The student gave the deputies no information about the gun, but he made no threats.
He's charged with illegally carrying a firearm on a school property, which is a gun-free zone.
