Lots of parents in the Baton Rouge area are nervous about the idea of kids returning to class in the middle of the omicron surge.
Classes are scheduled to resume on January 3.
East Baton Rouge Public School System officials announced on Wednesday that they'll continue their mask mandate for staff, students, and visitors.
A spokesperson says mandatory weekly testing of teachers and staff will also continue. Testing is optional for students.
