Restaurants are reopening after Hurricane Ida, but so far, the oysters aren't showing up.

The storm dealt a heavy blow to the Louisiana seafood industry, especially the oyster supply.

Before Ida made landfall, the state Department of Health shut down every oyster-growing parish in Louisiana. Heavy rains and runoff made the Gulf waters dirty and the oysters possibly unsafe.

The state has tested and reopened the oyster crops in parts of Plaquemines Parish.
