A new Netflix movie starring Captain America actor Anthony Mackie will start filming this week in Ascension Parish.
Location shooting starts today in Donaldsonville for the movie, We Have A Ghost, starring Mackie, David Harbour from Stranger Things, comedian Tig Notaro, and Jennifer Coolidge from the American Pie film series.
Filming is expected to last about a week along Railroad Avenue from Mississippi Street toward Louisiana Square and could temporarily shut down some businesses.
Filming will also take place in New Orleans.
