Louisiana renters are being reminded that the National Eviction Moratorium is set to end on Saturday.
The Biden administration announced this week they were being forced to allow the expiration after a recent Supreme Court decision said it is up to Congress to extend protections to renters.
National data shows over 3 million Americans nationwide face possible eviction when the moratorium ends.
Local housing advocates say they expect to see a significant increase in formal and informal eviction complaints this coming week.
