A former BRPD narcotics officer is staying in jail after a judge denied him bond.

On Thursday, the judge ruled that Jason Acree, who has been in jail for two months, will continue to be held with no bond.

Acree is facing charges tied to the BRPD's internal corruption probe into stealing drugs from evidence and destroying property.

Acree has been booked four times over the past few months, including in May when he was caught drag racing with guns and drugs in his car.
