The Louisiana Department of Health said Thursday that over 1 million residents were now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
LDH reported 1,035,070 out of 1,410,286 vaccine series are now completed.
The total number of doses given rose to 2,355,822 with the addition of 100,522 shots given since Monday.
State health officials also reported 791 additional COVID-19 cases, along with nine deaths.
The total number of reported cases as of Thursday was 451,476 with 10,273 deaths since the pandemic began.
Hospitalizations rose by 13 to 338 with 45 patients on ventilators, four fewer than Wednesday.
