State agencies are moving forward with storm relief efforts following a Disaster Declaration yesterday from President Trump for Hurricane Zeta.

The declaration means direct federal assistance is now available to help Louisiana communities impacted by Hurricane Zeta last October.

Several areas hit by Zeta are also still recovering from Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta.

New individual assistance will now be available for residents in Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, and Terrebonne parishes.
