Gov. John Bel Edwards says they're anticipating a surge of protesters ahead of next week's presidential inauguration.

Law enforcement agencies are bracing for chaos, including the FBI's New Orleans field office. The agency is preparing for what it calls an "armed call to action protest" at the Louisiana State Capitol on Wednesday. State police say they're anticipating multiple protests.

Edwards is hopeful the events will stay peaceful.
