Hurricane Delta is opening up a scar just six weeks old from Hurricane Laura in Louisiana.

Lafayette resident Sabrina Huffman says storms like these have been happening for generations and described what it was like as Delta moved through. "It was howling, noisy. It sounded like my house was shaking - I live in a trailer," she said, adding she's been through Katrina, Andrew, Laura and Camille, but Katrina was the worst.

Delta swooped in as a Category Two hurricane near Creole yesterday evening bringing with it 100 MPH winds. It has since weakened to a tropical depression.

The storm knocked out power to over half a million people in the state before crossing into Mississippi.
