Woodlawn High School's first football game of the season against Riverside has been canceled.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System announced yesterday that the football game was canceled after some of the players tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials say contact tracing is being conducted and close contacts at the school will be notified.
In addition to the game cancellation, the district says they are also temporarily suspending Woodlawn High football program activities until further notice.
