Concerns Growing Beta Could Bring Heavy Rains To Southeast Louisiana

Tropical Storm Beta is moving slowly towards the Texas coast, but there are growing concerns associated rains with the system could impact southeast Louisiana.

The National Weather Service New Orleans/Baton Rouge says a rain band from Beta could become detached from the system as it moves inland, bringing heavy rains that would stay over the area. However, those impacts all depend on where that band sets up.
