Quick Change: Sally Now Cat 1 Hurricane, More Strengthening Expected


Sally quickly strengthened from a tropical storm to a hurricane Monday morning and the National Hurricane Center warned further strengthening is possible. The system could make landfall as a category 2 along the Gulf Coast anywhere from extreme southeast Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama or the Florida panhandle.
