New Orleans is on a list of possible destinations for the 2020 Republican National Convention.

Sources revealed yesterday that the Republican National Committee is looking at New Orleans, Jacksonville, Orlando, Nashville, Dallas, and Phoenix as new locations for the event.

The move comes after President Trump announced on Tuesday night that he will remove the convention from Charlotte, North Carolina because its governor refuses to end COVID-19 restrictions.

Members of the Republican National Committee are expected to visit New Orleans soon to scout the city as a possible new landing spot for the event in August.
