Acadian Ambulance is sending crews to assist New Orleans.
The Lafayette-based service posted a picture on Facebook yesterday of multiple Acadian Ambulance crews being sent out to help local authorities in New Orleans amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The extra help comes as there are now more than 2,300 coronavirus cases in Louisiana and 83 deaths.
