Baton Rouge Family Trapped Overseas Due To Coronavirus Precautions

Coronavirus positive

A Baton Rouge man and his family are unable to return home from China due to precautions related to the outbreak of coronavirus.

According to reports, Patrick Stockstill and his family traveled to China to celebrate the Chinese New Year when the virus pandemic began.

In an effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Chinese officials issued a travel ban, leaving the Stockstill family stranded abroad.

Stockstill told reporters that his biggest concern is for his three-month-old boy who is developing an immune system.

The family will have to continue patiently waiting to find out when they can safely return to the U.S.
