The man who allegedly shot and killed a 41-year-old man at a Tigerland apartment is now behind bars.
Police say Donavan Jefferson was arrested yesterday in connection to the death of Derek Jones back in November 2019.
According to officials, Jefferson shot Jones after having a verbal argument at an apartment in the 1100-block of Jim Taylor Drive in Tigerland.
Jefferson has been charged with second degree murder.
