The Carnival season is officially underway in the city.
Mid City Gras announced yesterday that Rodney Hart will be the grand marshal for its upcoming parade.
Hart is the Executive Director at St. Tammany Parish Communications.
He addressed the crowd during the press conference Monday citing his excitement to partake in the festivities with the community.
The parade is scheduled to roll through Baton Rouge February 16th.
