A Baton Rouge man is behind bars after officials say he made a threat against a New York mall and used a racial slur.

Police say Gary Grzybowski was arrested yesterday following a terrorizing voicemail he left for a New York newspaper.

According to reports, Grzybowski called the Albany Times threatening the Crossgates Mall and using racial slurs after he was involved in an altercation with several African American males while at the mall on Christmas Eve.

Grzybowski admitted to the Baton Rouge Police Department that he was drunk while leaving the message.
