Homeless people in Saint Vincent de Paul are concerned they could be next after recent shootings have targeted their community.
City officials said they have increased police presence in the area off North Boulevard but some are worried that extra security is not enough.
The heightened security comes after three homeless people were shot to death in two separate incidents throughout the area.
Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul has yet to name a suspect in the murders, but has said he believes they are connected.
