Ascension Parish will not vote on the revised version of the Bernhard sewer contract today.
Town council members have decided to delay the vote, allowing the council and the public time to review the revised contract.
According to reports, some council members are already questioning the deal.
The agreement, which has been in the works for nearly a year, would mean Ascension Sewer LLC would operate the $215 million regional sewer system for the next 30 years.
