A Baton Rouge man is in custody after reportedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend and leading authorities on a high speed chase.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's office says it got a call from a woman last night claiming her ex-boyfriend had broken into her house and molested her.
Deputies say they saw Vary Dievetrick leaving the scene.
Dievetrick continued to run from authorities but eventually stopped in the parking lot of the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where he was arrested.
He's facing four charges in the case.
