Baton Rouge Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month Saturday

City leaders are hosting a family-friendly event Saturday to celebrate the Hispanic and Latin community during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Led by Councilwoman Erika Green of District 5, the event will take place at the Charles R. Kelly Community Center and will feature food, music, traditional dance performance, crafts, guest speakers, history presentations, and community resources.

The celebration sponsored by attorney Tedrick Knightshead, will start at 2 p.m. and end at 5 p.m.

National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th.
