The woman accused of leaving her dog to die inside a truck is pleading not guilty.

Leslie Aguillard pled not guilty yesterday during her arraignment.

Aguillard was charged with theft of a vehicle, theft of an animal, cruelty to an animal, attempted second degree murder, and theft July 8th after she allegedly stole a truck at Pelican Doughnuts in Baton Rouge.

This isn't the 30-year-old's first run-in with the law as court records show she was also wanted on a bench warrant on charges of theft under $1,000, entry/remaining after being forbidden, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
