The Baton Rouge Business Report says it's confirmed that there are plans to turn the Cortana Mall into an Amazon distribution and fulfillment center.
According to the Business Report, the few remaining occupants renting out property were recently told they have two weeks or less to vacate the space.
Though the deal is not finalized, Governor John Bel Edwards and Louisiana Economic Development reportedly led the efforts to bring Amazon to the Baton Rouge site.
