A parking lot on the LSU campus is closed as it is showing issues related to the rising river levels.
Pictures show the lot, located behind the Nicholson Gateway apartment complex on Skip Bertman Drive, has a large area where the asphalt has broke. Cars were sinking into the pavement, causing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to make the call to move the cars from the lot and set up barricades.
They say it is not a sinkhole, but the lot has become very uneven.
