A Baton Rouge man is facing charges after admitting to threatening a woman for sex.

Police arrested 58-year-old Daniel Anderson on false imprisonment and soliciting for prostitution charges Saturday. On Friday, police responded to an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Florida Boulevard where they found Anderson sitting in a wheelchair wielding a pair of hammers.

He told police he was sitting there making sure the victim didn't leave the complex.

The victim apparently fled and locked herself inside her home while Anderson began beating on the door, demanding she come outside. Anderson admitted that he paid the woman for sex, but he was unable to follow through and the woman took $165 and left.
