La. House Rejects Felony Jury Duty Legislation

The Louisiana House is rejecting a bill to allow convicted felons to serve jury duty.

The legislation would have mandated a five-year waiting period.

Currently, Louisiana law says if you've been convicted of a felony, you can't do jury duty unless you've been pardoned.
