Dakota Theriot, Indicted In Multi-Parish Killing Spree, Pleads Not Guilty

The man accused of going on a shooting rampage across two parishes is pleading not guilty in the killing of his parents.

Dakota Theriot entered his plea to two counts of first-degree murder in Ascension Parish court this morning. He has another hearing scheduled in Ascension Parish on May 24th.

Theriot will appear in a Livingston Parish court room on May 8th for charges related to the death of his girlfriend, her brother and her father.

He was arrested in January in Virginia after fleeing to his grandmother's house following the shootings.
