(St. Landry Parish, LA) -- More than two-million-dollars have now been raised to help with rebuilding efforts of three historically black churches in Louisiana, surpassing the goal of one-point-eight-million. In a 24-hour span, over one-million-dollars had been collected thanks to a GoFundMe campaign widely circulated on social media. It was shared by people like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and CNN anchor Jake Tapper. Donations have come from people in all 50 states as well as 40 different countries and territories. Overall, more than 35-thousand people have contributed.
