Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation Appoints New Leader

The Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation, which works to restore and redevelop neighborhoods, has selected a new president and CEO.

Carl Dillon, Jr. has been selected to fill the position. Dillon previously was the agency's Director of Operations, where he helped secure money for new affordable housing developments in Baton Rouge.

The UREC is a non-profit that was founded in 1992 in hopes of helping to develop communities "by investing in people and restoring neighborhoods."
