State police say a man is in custody on numerous charges related to a deadly head-on crash this past weekend in Ascension Parish.
Troopers say 29-year-old Rodney Earl is believed to have been driving impaired when he crossed the center line of LA 70, side-swiped one vehicle and then collided head-on with a car being driven by 54-year-old Kenneth Little, of Springfield.
Little died at the scene and the two people in the first vehicle suffered moderate injuries.
Earl is facing charges that include vehicular homicide and injuring, as well as possession of schedule one and two drugs.
