Another fraternity hazing case is putting Louisiana back in the headlines.

Police say nine members of the now-closed Delta Kappa Epsilon chapter on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge are facing charges that not only include misdemeanor hazing, but felony crimes of second-degree battery and false imprisonment.

Authorities say the hazing of pledges in the fall of last year involved, in one or more cases, beatings, the dousing of them with gasoline, urinating on them and forcing them to shower as ice contaminated with cayenne pepper melted and dripped into their eyes.
