The East Baton Rouge Metro Council still can't make up its mind on who should be the new permanent airport director.
It once again discussed the issue last night. The vacancy has existed for almost two years, with council members unwilling to promote Michael Edwards from his position as the airport's interim director.
Some on the Metro Council say the situation is unacceptable and disgraceful, all of the previous finalists for the post withdrawing their names after the panel couldn't make a decision.
