It's anything but cheap to motor around Louisiana these days, but gasoline is getting slightly less expensive at the pump.
According to AAA, the average price of regular is 47 cents higher than a year ago.
However, the travel group says the fuel is averaging $2.62 as the work week ends in the Pelican State, a decrease of just over a penny from last Friday and down about two cents compared to a month ago.
