Dozens Charged In Health Care Fraud Probe

More than two dozen people in the Baton Rouge-area are facing federal charges as the result of an investigation into health care fraud.

U.S. Attorney Brandon Fremin announced the charges Thursday which include fraud stemming from health care and opioid-related crimes, and other various criminal offenses such as gun violations.

Officials say this is part of the nation's largest ever investigation into federal health care fraud.
