The father of a man who died in the crash of a 20-foot aluminum boat he was driving is facing charges of vehicular homicide and driving the vessel while intoxicated.
State wildlife officials say 53-year-old Patrick White's blood-alcohol level was found to exceed the legal limit.
His son, 27-year-old Caleb White, died after being ejected from the boat Saturday night when it crashed into a bulkhead on the Amite River in Ascension Parish.
